noun mis·chief \ˈmis-chəf,: a playful desire to cause trouble
Nutritional Mischief is an intentional, empowered approach to living and eating in ways that build and support your best health. Not just freedom from disease, but real vibrant health – the kind that inspires you to pursue big dreams and truly enjoy your life. Nutritional Mischief is about cutting through the misinformation, marketing, one-size-fits-all myths, and junk science clogging the airwaves to design a diet and lifestyle specific to your needs based on a combination of the latest in solid, proven data and ancestral wisdom.
Nutritional Mischief means trading in the isolation, starvation, and deprivation of standard dieting and the infernal “just eat less and exercise more” paradigm for a diverse, delicious and nutrient-dense feast that makes you feel amazing.
My name is Jamie. I’m a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, geek, and foodie. I have an amazing husband, two crazy (and wonderful) border collies, and consider stubbornness my best virtue. I believe that Virginia Woolf was right on the money when she said “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”
Through Nutritional Mischief, I am privileged to help people sift through the often confusing and conflicting realities of their needs, health challenges, resources, and goals to identify root causes, hidden culprits, and untapped opportunities. Together, we create and implement a plan to help them achieve their best health, and design realistic diets and lifestyles that will sustain that health long-term.
